Translating books represents a particular challenge. timtranslates.com will offer you so much more than just the translation of the main text.
Firstly, we can work with the desktop publishing file (InDesign, Quark, etc.) from which the book in the original language was printed, rather than an export to Microsoft Word. We use specialist software to extract the text from the desktop publishing files. Once the text has been translated, we import the translated text back into the desktop publishing file, allowing us to deliver a file with the same format and layout as the original file. Another service we include when translating books is third-party revision. Rather than delivering what one person has written, we use one of our partner editors to edit our text.
